This weekend I played a proper house set at elephant's trunk in Bury.
The event is a new idea from Otis and Chris who wanted a night of Ibiza style house stompers and remixes (basically a load of bangers was the remit)!! . They got me down play some tracks or "BANGERS" as Otis so eloquently likes to refer to them!.,they also got Tom "da lips" involved who is a very talented dj/ saxophonist.
I had a really good night I was well impressed with tom on saxophone ,he played a very cool underground vocally house vibe and then the sax on top whilst DJing is unreal(check the video, the boys got serious talent!!).
Even though it wasn't as busy as we might have hoped everybody were proper raving and dancing, and I was on one as per usual. My highlight of night had be on way home my little minx of a mrs saying how she loved the music I played and what a great set I'd played all night (she is officially a groupie!!). Everyone who came looked like they had a great night, next time needs to be done bigger and better! Ive posted couple minimixes from the night so you can hear tom doing his sax thing and hear the kinda groove we are going for!
Hopefully on the back of this will be some new production(TOM_ MAN_RED_FACE_IDEA!!)
